Resilience is a fundamental attribute in business today, not only as a key factor to individual success but also for the success of teams.  This training day offers the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills required to enhance personal resilience, as well as resilience within teams.

Delegates will learn how to avoid dwelling on ‘failures’, and instead use such experiences as valuable lessons, whilst persistently looking for ways to strive forward. By the end of the course, you’ll be better equipped to impart resilient attitudes within others, and to develop robust and adaptable teams.

This training course is for anyone who wants to understand how they can improve their own emotional intelligence and resilience in order to gain more self-confidence. 

This course teaches broad life skills and positive patterns of thinking, which can be used not only in the workplace, but also in your everyday life.

  • Building collective resilience in teams

  • Practical tools/tips/techniques

  • Action plan. 

What will I get out of the training?

Resilience can be described as our ability to ‘bounce back’ from setbacks and maintain control under challenging circumstances. You will learn how to develop your own and others' personal effectiveness,allowing you to use your experiences to ‘bounce forward’ - not only recovering, but using them as an opportunity to improve. 

By learning new techniques and sharing your experiences with others, you'll have improved your own confidence, and developed a greater understanding of how to incorporate positive ways of thinking within the workplace - both on a personal level and within your own teams. 

What is the duration of this course?

This is a 1 day course.

The timings and format for our courses are as follows:

  • Scheduled training courses held virtually

Unless specified, courses commence at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:00pm.  The day is broken up into modules, both online and offline to ensure engagement and interaction.  We also ensure that there are plenty of comfort breaks throughout the day.

  • Scheduled training courses held at one of our venues

Courses commences at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:30pm. On all our scheduled courses, a hot lunch is included, and refreshments are provided throughout the day.

  • In-house & bespoke courses, held virtually or at a venue of your choice

What is my experience?

I’ve worked extensively across both the Private and Public sectors. My experience has given me valuable insight into different strategic and operational approaches, business models and attitudes to both training and coaching which I have used to be able to adapt to different environments and requirements of organisations. My lifelong interest in developing people, led to a qualification in executive coaching and mentoring and this, coupled with my own ‘hands-on’ experience in the business world has allowed me to work with a whole range of organisations to develop both their individuals, teams and businesses to improve and adapt to change and challenges.

What is my area of expertise?

As a trainer and coach, I work with both individuals and groups of people on areas to develop themselves and their businesses qualitatively.  Process and performance management, managing change and remote leadership are key areas of expertise.  All these are linked by the use of both practical and psychological models, for delegates to take back and use in their workplace to ensure that the investment in training really benefits them and their business going forward.

Why I love inspiring others?

I believe that anyone, with a little support, can be the very best version of themselves that they want to be.  The blend of training and coaching gives me the amazing opportunity to witness people developing and growing into that best version of themselves – and there is no greater ‘buzz’ than that.
