Our Managing Yourself and Your Time course is about understanding how the demands of a busy job and life can be improved with time management skills. We’ll help you to identify where you’re going wrong, how to organise and plan your time more effectively, and how to be proactive rather than reactive - achieving a better work/life balance.

This course is ideal for anyone who feels that they are constantly under pressure, and needs to manage their time more effectively.

The skills taught on this course can help any employee to get the most out of their time, improving their efficiency and performance, and reducing the stress of deadlines.

What content will the course cover?

  • What is your attitude to time?

  • Identify where time is wasted and take action to avoid this

  • Organise and plan your day with the use of electronic devices 

  • Prioritise your work effectively – excellent time management skills

  • Avoiding constant ‘fire fighting’ and become more proactive

  • Deal with interruptions effectively

  • Understanding the importance of saying, “No!”

  • Using Delegation as an effective tool

  • Using the right type of communication 

  • Understand what stress is and how to avoid (or cope) with it 

  • Develop your own personal goals and objectives.

The timings and format for our courses are as follows:

  • Scheduled training courses held virtually

Unless specified, courses commence at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:00pm.  The day is broken up into modules, both online and offline to ensure engagement and interaction.  We also ensure that there are plenty of comfort breaks throughout the day.

  • Scheduled training courses held at one of our venues

Courses commences at 9:30am and finish at approximately 4:30pm. On all our scheduled courses, a hot lunch is included, and refreshments are provided throughout the day.

  • In-house & bespoke courses, held virtually or at a venue of your choice
