Why book this course?

As an administrator or office manager in a busy workplace, you will be used to a fair bit of juggling. New tasks can pop up all the time, and just keeping track of everything can seem like a job in itself. This constant flurry of work and distractions can prevent you from focusing on any one task, and performing it to the best of your ability.

Our Administrator and Office Management Skills course will enable you to get a hold on your workload, and maximise your contribution to the management team. Starting with an understanding of your role in the hierarchy, you’ll learn about time management techniques, being more assertive in your communication, and how to handle difficult situations.

This course is ideal for any administrator, office manager or personal assistant wishing to enhance their general effectiveness, confidence and communication skills.

Learners will gain techniques for managing tasks and time, improve their ability to plan and persuade, and handle criticism and conflict without impacting on their work.

What will I get out of the training?

By taking our Administrator and Office Management Skills course, you’ll receive practical advice on working relationships with everyone in your office, and learn how to enhance your team’s performance by anticipating needs and required actions. This will both improve your own efficiency and satisfaction and the functioning of the people around you.

What is my experience?

I’ve worked extensively across both the Private and Public sectors. My experience has given me valuable insight into different strategic and operational approaches, business models and attitudes to both training and coaching which I have used to be able to adapt to different environments and requirements of organisations. My lifelong interest in developing people, led to a qualification in executive coaching and mentoring and this, coupled with my own ‘hands-on’ experience in the business world has allowed me to work with a whole range of organisations to develop both their individuals, teams and businesses to improve and adapt to change and challenges.

What is my area of expertise?

As a trainer and coach, I work with both individuals and groups of people on areas to develop themselves and their businesses qualitatively.  Process and performance management, managing change and remote leadership are key areas of expertise.  All these are linked by the use of both practical and psychological models, for delegates to take back and use in their workplace to ensure that the investment in training really benefits them and their business going forward.

Why I love inspiring others?

I believe that anyone, with a little support, can be the very best version of themselves that they want to be.  The blend of training and coaching gives me the amazing opportunity to witness people developing and growing into that best version of themselves – and there is no greater ‘buzz’ than that.
