Why book this course?

Few projects take place now without relying on some form of software, be it for communication or time management. If your organisation uses Microsoft applications, it’s likely that you will be working with Microsoft Project: one of the most popular tools for managing projects on any scale.

Our Fundamentals of Microsoft Project course is a hands-on introduction to Microsoft's popular project planning tool. You learn how to use Microsoft Project to create and manage your own projects, including how to make plans, how to assign resources, and how to view different forms of information in the software.

Who is the course for?

Our Fundamentals of Microsoft Project course is ideal for anyone who needs to use Microsoft Project in their workplace, or is interested in introducing it to their workflow.

Delegates will learn how to take advantage of the software to create tasks, manage resources and track the progress of projects. Some basic computer and keyboard skills are necessary, while basic familiarity with other Microsoft applications is useful but not required.

What will I get out of the training?

Delegates will gain a clear understanding of the fundamentals of Microsoft Project, and become more confident with using the software. You’ll learn how to set up project plans and methodologies for projects of all sizes, and be able to use Project’s key features efficiently. You will also learn how to create and maintain a project plan using tasks and resources, making your projects more effective and easier to manage.

At Kent Trainers, we’re proud to tailor all of our courses to the needs of businesses across the region. Our Fundamentals of Microsoft Project course gives delegates the opportunity to ask questions and receive advice that applies to their situation. What is my experience?

I have been involved in IT Training and Development for over 18 years.  I have experience of training staff in both the Private and Public sector.  I train Microsoft and Google Products, carrying out software specific training needs analysis and advising organisations on their future training plans.

My training expertise focuses on all Microsoft Products, including Project, Excel, Teams, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Publisher.  With technology being so versatile and open to all, matter what the location, I can conduct all of my training either face to face or virtually.  As well as working with the more well established software products, I also work with companies that seek to develop and train on their own in-house systems.
