Sally is one of Kent Trainers original founding members and continues to work as one of our Senior Trainers.
In her own words...
My main love is training - specialising in practical solutions to everyday challenges in the workplace. Focusing on communication skills, I like nothing better than involving myself in the day-to-day operations of organisations, large & small, in both the corporate and voluntary sectors.
I worked with Business Link Kent delivering a number of open and in-house courses for them for more than 8 years. When they announced they were withdrawing from the open course market, I formed Kent Trainers with other BLK trainers.
After gaining a degree in English from London University, I Joined BP in their Human Resources function. After 6 years as a Human Resources & Training Manager at several BP sites across Britain, I resigned my established career to follow my life-long ambition to be my own boss. I have managed a ‘portfolio’ career for many years since, thriving on variety and change. I am the founder of several successful businesses including an interim management & training agency, an on-line trading emporium and a relocation company – as well as being an HR consultant and a published author.
Outside work I am an active volunteer with a variety of roles but I am most proud of the project I voluntarily managed which raised over £40,000 within 12 months. I also enjoy singing in a local choir.
