Difficult Conversations and How to Manage Them

Who is it for?

This difficult conversations course is for any manager, supervisor or HR professional who is looking to undertake and manage difficult conversations in the workplace.

 

Description

As a manager or HR professional, you sometimes have to have those difficult conversations. This might mean tackling a sensitive topic or dealing with conflict. You need to plan the conversation and be prepared to handle it, however it plays out.  This course will help you to feel confident as you approach it, and to respond flexibly to whatever happens.

We will encourage you to bring examples of difficult conversations you have had, and difficuly conversations you know you have to have. Any work-place context will be appropriate; difficult conversations with suppliers, customers, colleagues, staff, or your boss.

Course duration

1 day, normally between 9:30 and 4:30

In house options and costs

This course is offered as an in-house option either at your offices or at one of our prestigious venues. If you choose to use one of our venues, room  hire and catering will be charged at our specially negotiated rates.

The cost of an in house course including all training materials for up to 12 delegates is £1,195 plus travel + VAT.
