Find a Voice - Charity of the Year

Kent Trainers is pleased to be working with Find a Voice as its Charity of the Year. Find a Voice's General Manager Debbie Burden received their Charity of the Year certificate from Kent Trainers' Director Richard Jones at Chilston Park Hotel whilst attending their first free course of the year.
As Kent Trainers' Charity of the Year, Find a Voice will receive free places on training courses throughout the year. We look forward to working with such a withwhile organisation.
About Find a Voice
Find a voice is a charity celebrating twenty years of providing a service to individuals and groups who have severe speech, language or communication difficulties, who require some form of augmentative and alternative communication (ACC) support.  Our service is accessible to people with a range of disabilities including conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Brain injuries, Learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Strokes, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy to mention just a few.
The charity aims to provide educational and life skill courses to young adults with severe communication and learning disabilities. As an ASDAN Centre the charity offers individuals and groups to improve their physical and mental welfare through educational and social programmes.  Find a Voice provides a safe environment tailored to meet the students/ clients needs as well as with carers or health service professions to ensure the welfare of the student/ client is priority.  There are regular social sessions for the students to regularly interact improving their mental wellbeing as well as working with professional services to provide specialised equipment to clients with the outreach resource service offered on a 1:1 or group basis utilising the charities’’ bank of resources.
