Jackie spends two-thirds of her time travelling the country (sometimes the world) helping people to identify their core message and communicate it clearly. Her speeches and workshops are renowned for being information-packed, interactive and fun.
The rest of the time she is a hands-on copywriter, producing web copy and blog posts for clients across all sectors and in all English-speaking nations.
She is the author of Experiential Speaking, a collection of icebreakers and energisers for speakers and trainers. Her other books include the Little Fish Guides to DIY Marketing, Networking and Writing your own Website.
Jackie’s blogs have been published on the Huffington Post, Fresh Business Thinking, Ezine Articles, Marketing Lens, ProCopywriters Network and more. She received Constant Contact’s ‘All Star’ award for five years in a row, as well as ‘Newsletter of the Week’.
She has worked with hundreds of small businesses as well as corporates including FirstPlus, Tesco, Ann Summers, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Domestic & General, Freemans and Grattan.
Jackie founded her own copywriting agency in 2001, helping business owners and entrepreneurs to promote their brands, products and services effectively.
Prior to that, she was a Senior Manager in a £multi-million, multi-national organisation, where she led marketing and creative teams and managed projects with great success.
As for her qualifications, Jackie is an NLP Practitioner, and holds a multi-disciplinary BA (Hons) from the Open University and a diploma in periodical journalism.
She likes dancing, scuba diving and making people laugh. She hates tea, tomatoes and shoes.
